Water from highway flooding private land

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 20:25, Monday 24 March 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7331471.

The B Thornley Gate to Ninebanks road runs along the perimeter of our property . On the opposite side of the road there is a gulley running adjacent to the road with numerous " grips " in it .Unfortunately theses are allowing water to run across the road and onto our property causing flooding ,it is also causing erosion at the bottom of our boundary walls . Opposite the entrance to our property the gulley stops being on open gulley and the water disappear s under the road and resurfaces half way down our drive causing damp issues in the end of our dwelling . Approximately 8yrs ago the Highways department laid a raised kerb at the entrance to our drive to prevent surface water running down it but sadly this no longer works . I would appreciate either a call or site visit to discuss on going problems Many thanks
