Sheet of ice on road outside our house

Reported via desktop in the Gritting Request - Roads category by Chris Allen at 18:37, Tuesday 7 January 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6947389.

There is a stream of water that flows constantly down the road in front of our house on Church Bank. When the temperature drops, as it has done over Christmas and into the New Year, the water freezes into a sheet of ice that makes it treacherous for pedestrians and motorists.
