Inadequate highway drainage on A697
Reported via mobile in the Broken / Missing category anonymously at 14:45, Sunday 5 January 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6933839.
As a resident on a new development we have noticed heavy flows of rainwater down our street originating from A697. On inspection it seems only 1 gulley is present for 150m of the main A road. Consequently this overflows or runs from both sides of J with Alnwick Fords Rd then down Alnwick Fords and then down Chapel View. I doing do it crosses the A road making dangerous conditions on A697 àlso.I consider additional gullies are required on A697
