Unsightly footpath surfacing at end of drive to 3 Skipton Close

Reported via desktop in the Surface Condition category anonymously at 14:07, Friday 8 November 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6709858.

Earlier this year trenches where dug in the footpaths of Skipton Close to receive new electricity cables. The trenches were backfilled and footpath surfaces reinstated. At the end of my drive at 3 Skipton Close, additional remedial works were carried out some weeks later to the footpath surface which left a very unsightly patchwork quilt appearance with what appears to be additional cementitious material which can not be cleaned with power jet washes or natural weather conditions. The appearance is extremely unsightly and I consider it will have a detrimental effect on the value of my property.
