Investigating
Bridge unstable, plank missing and another rotted
Reported via desktop in the Bridge out of repair category anonymously at 15:41, Fri 1 November 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6684692.
The bridge over the Stobbylee Burn has almost disintegrated. It should have three sleepers but 1 was lost a long time ago and now a second has come loose and is unstable due to the bridge supports rotting at each end. The bridge can only be crossed by holding the rail and shuffling across on the one remaining sleeper.
