Access to bridge impossible due to water logging/flooding
Reported via desktop in the Bridge out of repair category anonymously at 14:44, Mon 14 October 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6613444.
Access to the footbridge is impossible as the path is overgrown with marsh preventing drainage. The bridge itself is currently at water-level and the flagstone route to access it is under a foot or more of water. Drainage channel needs to be cleared to allow water to flow. This problem has been ongoing for years and on 11 Oct 2024 meant this popular route could not be walked.
