Drains covers and surrounding in poor condition
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6405013.
I attached the above 2 images to a report today which has been closed with no further action. I disagree that no further action is required, when it is clear from the images that there is damage to drain. There are multiple cracks to the surround, the grating is loose, and bits off concrete and ceramic could easily be picked off by hand, with several bits of the surround missing. Please may you complete a more thorough assessment prior to closing the case,l. If the case is to be closed again, I would appreciate a valid reason for this to be classed as fit for purpose, since it has been highlighted.
