Area of paving slabs damaged/broken

Reported via mobile in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 15:29, Wed 21 August 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6383094.

Damage between 41-43 Leander Avenue. Broken today by skip hire operator placing his HGV's driver-side wheels and supports onto the pavement and then lifting a full skip of driveway earth from number 43 onto the back of the vehicle. I've worked for a transport company in the past and it was blatantly obvious that the drivers actions would damage the pavement. The contractors simply brushed the pavement and washed over with water.
