Overhanging trees/bushes

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 04:50, Thursday 8 August 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6329984.

The trees/bushes are overhanging the path/cyclepath making it impossible to pass oncoming pedestrians/cyclists without going on to the road into oncoming traffic. The grass has grown onto the path over the years dangerously narrow the path for around 300 meters.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 06:41, Thursday 5 September 2024

  • The path is getting narrower with all the overhanging bushes for 300 meters heading south. The grass has grown over the path making it virtually impossible for people/cycles to pass without going on the grass. This will be the main path to walk to the train station in bebside with the bedlington station not opening for a time. Also the path has deteriorated near the road crossing heading south with gravel and stones sliding off the bank to the right hand side causing a trip/slip hazard.
