Polystyrene in drains
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Ditch category anonymously at 15:17, Mon 29 July 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6289627.
All the drains between number 1 and number 27 Seventh Row have a considerable amount of polystyrene granules in them. This only happened recently but if not dealt with swiftly will result in pollution of rivers etc. Please come and clear this before any environmental damage is done.

The drain cleaners came earlier this week and pumped as much as they could out. It has not all gone but there is very little left.
