Overgrown shrubbery
Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 11:14, Mon 29 July 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6288057.
On the council owned land on Southward Way, Holywell the shrubbery is extremely overgrown, is covering the footpath and blocking all light into adjacent gardens. These haven't been trimmed for 2 years and require urgent attention.

Still open, via questionnaire -
2 months on, no response from the council and problem still not fixed. Great effort by Northumberland county Council and great to see the process for reporting issues is as useful as a chocolate fireguard. 0/10 won't come again. Try harder NCC.

Still no resolution to the issue, nor a single form of communication from the council. They are quite happy to cut the grass twice a week or charge for the removal of garden rubbish in a designated bin. But when it comes to half a day trimming back a few bushes, causing numerous problems, the council, can't even find the time to reply. Awesome, thanks again NCC, you can enjoy the title of not giving a s#&t for another month. I'll just bask in the darkness of my garden since you have no interest in managing your shrubbery. Toodaloo
