This repair has been deteriorating for years and it is in desperate need of repair and filling. Several residents have already logged their appeal with NCC to address this. It is a channel spanning the width of the road, roughly 12 inches wide. Photographs attached.

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team.
