Possible giant hogweed on Wansbeck Riverside

Reported via desktop in the Trees in public parks and open spaces category anonymously at 18:59, Monday 24 June 2024

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6148018.

I saw these plants on the Stakeford side of the riverbank yesterday and worried they might be giant hogweek. Its the bank beside the wooded footpath going from Stakeford Bridge towards Ringway. I don't really know what the difference is between native and giant hogweed but I can't remember seeing these previously and would be grateful if you could check.
