Gap in the tarmac across full width of the road.

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6103059.

This area of the road has been worked on and filled previously. As is it has become worse over the last few months cracks are starting to appear in ceilings, windows and radiators are vibrating as well as the noise from HGV's and buses which pass very frequently.

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team.
